Neurotoxins
Smooth expression lines and maintain a naturally refreshed appearance with personalized neurotoxin treatments tailored to your aesthetic goals.
A Closer Look at Botox® & Xeomin®
Botox® and Xeomin® are FDA-approved injectable neurotoxins that temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated expressions. Commonly treated areas include forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet around the eyes.
While both treatments deliver similar aesthetic results, Botox contains protective proteins surrounding the active ingredient, while Xeomin is a highly purified formulation without those accessory proteins. For some patients, this purified formulation may be preferred, particularly for long-term treatment plans or those who have developed resistance to other neurotoxins.
At Vitality Health & Glow Clinic in Hiram, GA, we’ll recommend the option that’s best suited to your facial anatomy, treatment history, and aesthetic goals. Whether you’re looking to soften existing wrinkles or take a proactive approach to facial aging, neurotoxin treatments offer a safe, non-surgical solution with little to no downtime. Schedule your consultation today to learn whether Botox or Xeomin is right for you. To learn more about these products, please review the official Botox Medication Guide and Xeomin Medication Guide.
Your Treatment Experience
Getting Started
We’ll discuss your aesthetic goals, review your medical history, and evaluate your facial muscle movement to determine the most appropriate treatment plan. Your provider will explain what to expect and answer any questions before your injections.
During Your Treatment
Using a very fine needle, small amounts of Botox or Xeomin are precisely injected into targeted facial muscles. Most treatments take about 15 to 20 minutes, and discomfort is typically minimal.
After Your Treatment
You can return to most normal activities immediately following your appointment. Mild redness or small bumps at the injection sites may occur but usually resolve quickly. Results gradually develop over the following several days.
